Iran executes 10 within two days, including two women

Ten prisoners including two women were hanged on July 26 and 26 in the cities of Zanjan, Kermanshah, Mahabad, Noshahr, Babol and Gachsaran.
Two inmates were hanged on July 25 on drug related charges in Zanjan Central Prison, northwestern Iran.
“The two who were transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday July 23, were identified as Mohammad Ali Yari and Jalil Dadyarvand, a father of a 4-year-old daughter.
Mohammad Ali Yari was arrested in 2013 and was sentenced to death on drug charges, the accusation he had repeatedly denied. He didn’t possess any drugs and The main owner of the drugs was executed two years ago.” according to a credible source.
Another inmate identified as 31-year-old Omran Ahmadvand was hanged on the same day in Central Prison of Kermanshah, capital of western Kermanshah Province. He was found guilty of murder.
There is also further news on the execution of three inmates including a woman in Urmia Central Prison, northwest of Iran. Two of the victims are identified as Farhad Musazadeh and Davoud Maldar. The woman however has not been identified in press reports. All the three were executed for non-violent drug offences. They had been transferred to solitary confinement in a group of five. The latter two were transferred to Mahabad Prison, in Iranian Kurdistan. One of them by the name of Fattah Amini was hanged on the same day on murder charges.
A young 25-year old woman was hanged on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, on murder charges in Central Prison of Babol, northern Iran. There is no information available on her identity.
Another inmate was hanged on the same day in Gachsaran Prison in northwestern Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province. Lingering on death row since eight years ago, Salman Rahi was found guilty of murder.
In a report, the state-run ROKNA news agency announced another execution for murder charges. The victim is identified as 30-year-old Alireza Rezapour.
