70 inmates in Bukan Prison suffered severe illnesses due to gas inhalation, on January 23, 2018.
Prison heaters are said to be very old and worn out. Authorities have provided no meaningful medical care to the ill inmates.
The authorities did not permit the prisoners to recieve adequate medical treatment and they were returned to the prison after receiving a quick check-up in the clinic.
