Iran: Women arrested for human rights activities

A student and human rights advocate, from Ahwaz, southwest of Iran, staying at her parental house was arrested on February 24th, and transferred to an unknown location.
Sepideh Gholian, 22, is a fourth term student of veterinary Medicine in Ahwaz.
“Gholian’s family were threatened probably by intelligence agents of Revolutionary Guards to keep silent and wait for intelligence agents’ call.”, a source close to this family.
“She has been arrested, perhaps for her civil activities.”, the source added.
