Iran: Kurd family threatened and harassed to reveal their son’s whereabouts
The Intelligence Department of Sarpol-e Zahab has intimidated and harassed a family to reveal their son’s whereabouts.
Their son, Mohammad Ghassemi had been held one year in Kermanshah’s Prison for cooperating with opposition Kurdish parties. He was released on bail.
Mohammad Ghassemi, however, disappeared after the Intelligence Department threatened him with life imprisonment if he didn’t cooperate with them, an informed source said.
The other son of this family, Mokhtar Ghassemi, has been also arrested since two months ago by the Intelligence agents. No information is available on his fate to this day.
