Iran: Converted Christian man detained in Karaj

Kiarash Alipour, the spokesperson for Article 18 Organization for the Defense of Freedom of Religion and Belief in Iran said that on March 2, a converted Christian identified as Aziz Majidzadeh who was in a workshop in Karaj was detained along with his friends after security forces raided the workshop.

Reports indicate that security forces detained the 20 Christians in the workshop and confiscated some of their personal belongings including their cellphones and laptops.

Most of the people were released after initial interrogations but Aziz Majidzadeh is still in custody. There is still no information on his whereabouts.
