Branch 101 of Oshnavieh ‘s Revolutionary Courtin southeast Iran has sentenced a poet to nine months behind bars.
Masoud Alati was arrested by intelligence agents back in January following a wedding ceremony where he read poetry.
He has been charged with “protecting Kurdish parties” and sentenced to nine months in prison.
