A prisoner sentenced to death for murder was executed on Saturday, October 14, in Lakan Prison of Rasht, northern Iran. He was identified as Hamid-Reza Khoshbakht. According to informed sources, Hamid Reza, who was born in 1993, committed murder about four years ago when he was 20 years old.
