A Basij member tried to assassinate a Sunni cleric and his nephew in the town of Chabahar.
According to reports, the Bassij member, identified as Yahya, was carrying a Revolutionary Guards Corps gun to assassinate Baluch cleric Molavi Abdul Wahab Miranzehi and his nephew Mohammad Saleh Miranzehi outside of the Office of the temporary Sunni Imam of Friday Prayers.
The two were shot in the stomach and legs and were rushed to Imam Ali Hospital in Chabahar.
