Hundreds of EU parliamentarians have recently condemned the human rights abuses in Iran.
In reaction to this statement, Iran’s Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson made a statement.
“A few European Parliament members who are known for their connections to a number of dissident groups and the Monafeghin (PMOI) have tried to bring up false claims about the human rights conditions in Iran,” Bahram Ghasemi said, according to the state-run IRNA news agency, June 28, 2017.
