On January 30, at least six young people were arrested in Golpayegan by intelligence and security agents oncharges of participating in protests. According to reliable sources, one of the detainees identified as Hossein Fayazi, is currently under torture at the Golpayegan Intelligence Detention Center.
Security forces used pepper spray and batons to arrest protesters.
The state Security Force in the city also arrested three brothers, Mohammad, Fazlollah and Hadi Nikbakht, and transferred them to an unknown location. Three other detainees are identified as Ahmad and Rasoul Yavar and Abolfazl Abolhassani.
