Security agents prevented the Writers Club from holding its 50th anniversary on Friday, May 25, 2018. A member of this club, Akbar Masoom Baigi explained that security agents “Savagely raided” the house where the ceremony was to be held in and blocked the street there. The report also says that they confiscated all the posters, souvenirs and other stuff that the members have collected during a year for this ceremony.
