The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that Iran was still in 22nd place in terms of inflation among the countries of the world, which means that 169 countries have less inflation than Iran.
The latest figures from the International Monetary Fund indicate that in 2016, Iran ranked 22nd among the 191 countries surveyed, with 169 countries having less inflation than Iran.
The international organization forecasts that Iran’s inflation rate will increase to 10.52 percent in 2017.
International Monetary Fund statistics also show that the country’s unemployment rate in the world between 2013 to 2016 had a 10 point decrease and Iran went from 29 to 19 percent which means the unemployment rate went downhill.
In the latest World Economic Outlook report released by the IMF, the unemployment rate in Iran in 2016 was 12.5 (12.450) percent.
According to the report, the unemployment rate in Iran was 11 percent in 2015, which means we are faced with rising unemployment.
Iran ranked 25th in 2015, which means that the country dropped six points last year. At the same time, Iran’s unemployment rate has not yet been able to return to what it was during the 11th administration, and has dropped 10 points from 2013 to 2016.
According to the international organization’s estimates, Iran’s unemployment rate was 10.4 percent in 2013, 10.6 percent in 2014, 11 percent in 2015 and 12.45 percent in 2016. (Fars state-run News Agency- Oct. 11, 2017)
