Three young men who had been arrested during the nationwide Iran protests in November 2019 were sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of Tehran.

Amir Hossein Moradi, Saeed Tamjidi, and Mohammad Rajabi were additionally sentenced to 38 years in prison and 222 lashes of the whip. The verdict had been sent to the lawyers of the protesters presently detained in the Greater Tehran Penitentiary. Their charges include among others, “participation in acts of damaging and setting fire with the intention of fighting the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Mohammad Rajabi is one of the three young men arrested during Iran protests in November 2019 and sentenced to death. Mohammad, 25, was professional in MDF but had been working as an advisor in a realty state in Pounak.

Mohammad Rajabi’s trial was held in two sessions on January 25 and 26, at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran presided by the notorious judge, Abolghasem Salavati. He was sentenced to death, 10 years in prison and 74 lashes. He is currently held in the Greater Tehran Penitentiary, a.k.a. Fashafuyeh Prison.

One of the friends of Mohammad who wants to remain anonymous, says, “Mohammad was rebellious. He could not stay indifferent to oppression, but he was not a saboteur or a hooligan. He just wanted freedom. He never thought they would take his life for a simple protest with empty hands.”

Amir Hossein Moradi is another one of the three young men sentenced to death for participating in the Iran protests in November 2019.

Amir Hossein, 25, used to sell mobile phones and electronic devices in Tehran. He had lived for three years in Germany in previous years but returned home.

Amir Hossein Moradi was arrested by security forces in the protests of November 2019 in Aryashahr District in Tehran. He endured great pressure to make televised confessions against himself.

His three years in Germany became an excuse for the regime to bring more pressure on him and accuse him of false charges. An informed source said Amir Hossein Moradi was a rebellious young man, but he did not have contact with or work for anyone. He protested because he witnessed oppression. His only crime was that he expressed his protest.

Amir Hossein Moradi was tried in two sessions on January 25 and 26, 2020 at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran by the notorious Judge, Salavati. He was sentenced to death, 15 years in prison and 74 lashes of the whip.

He is currently detained in the Greater Tehran Penitentiary, a.k.a. Fashafuyeh Prison.

Saeed Tamjidi, 27, was a student of Electrical Engineering. He is another one of the three young men who was sentenced death for participating in the protests of November 2019 along with his friends Amir Hossein Moradi and Mohammad Rajabi.

His family are extremely terrified and do not know how to deal with the situation.

Saeed Tamjidi was tried in two sessions on January 25 and 26, 2020 at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran by the notorious Judge, Salavati. He was sentenced to death, 10 years in prison and 74 lashes of the whip.
