Execution of Hamed Jalilian in Kermanshah Central Prison
On the morning of Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Hamed Jalilian, a prisoner from Kermanshah, was executed in Kermanshah Central Prison. He had previously been arrested on murder charges and sentenced to death. According to the Iran Human Rights Society, another prisoner named Kianoush Khosravi Siah-Bidi was also executed in the same prison on the same day.
Execution of Mosib Segvand in Khorramabad Prison
On Sunday morning, July 13, 2025, Mosib Segvand was executed in Khorramabad Prison. Segvand had been arrested in 2020 on charges of murder and sentenced to death.
Execution of Peyman Afshar in Lakan Prison, Rasht
At dawn on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Peyman Afshar, aged 43, was executed in Lakan Prison in Rasht. He had been detained on murder charges and sentenced to death before his execution.
Transfer of a Prisoner to Solitary Confinement in Lakan Prison, Rasht
Also on the morning of Wednesday, July 16, 2025, a male prisoner approximately 41 years old was transferred from the general ward to solitary confinement in Lakan Prison, Rasht. This transfer was in preparation for the implementation of his death sentence. The prisoner had previously been convicted of murder.
