Execution of Abdolrahim Nazari in Zahedan Central Prison
On the morning of Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Abdolrahim Nazari was executed in Zahedan Central Prison. Abdolrahim Nazari, 34 years old, son of Eshan, married and father of three, was a resident of Ghareh-Bolagh, Aliabad Katoul. He was arrested in Zahedan in 2022 (1401 in the Iranian calendar) on drug-related charges and sentenced to death.
His execution was carried out without prior notice to his family or lawyer, and without a final visit. Executions carried out without notifying the family or legal counsel are considered secret executions.
Execution of Ali Asghar Alami in Damghan Prison
At dawn on Monday, May 19, 2025, Ali Asghar Alami was executed in Damghan Prison. He was the son of Ahmad, unmarried, and a resident of Damghan. He had previously been arrested on murder charges and sentenced to death.
