The pressure on the family of jailed Christian priest Youssef Nadarkhani has increased and (officials) have refrained from registering his child at school. In addition to 10 years in prison, this Christian priest has been sentenced to two years of exile to Nikshahr, a town in the Province of Sistan-Baluchistan.
Yousef Nadarkhani was arrested earlier in 2009 in Rasht. At that time, the court accused him of “leaving religion” and “inviting other Muslims to Christianity.”
