Two Baha’is arrested in Iran

Two members of Iran’s Baha’i community, Farzan Masoumi and Farhad Sabet, were arrested on Sunday in Shiraz, southwest of Iran.

“They probably were transferred to a Ministry of Intelligence detention center in Shiraz, known as No. 100, however no further information is available on their fate,.” according to a source close to the families of those arrested.

Six security agents raided and inspected Farhad Sabet’s house, confiscating two laptops, religious and secular books, family and religious photos, flash memory cards, CDs and his personal property.

Ehsan Amirinia, Nima Rajabzadeh and Arman bandi, other members of the Baha’i community in Kerman Province, central Iran, have also been arrested during the past week.
