Mohammad Raisi, a member of Iran’s Baha’I community, was arrested in a raid on his house in Yazd, central Iran. Iranian security forces inspected his home and transferred him to an Intelligence Ministry detention center due to his beliefs.
The Baha’i religion is not recognized in Iran’s constitution and this community has faced systematic persecution and harassment.
